Optimizing and simplifying the operation of companies and communities

All our systems are becoming more complex and everyone is striving for more simplicity. But simplicity does not necessarily mean simplification. It is very difficult to take away the complexity of some systems in their construction or in the way they operate. Complexity simply has to be accepted on the one hand and limited on the other. In this respect, daily operations that potentially use complex systems must be simple or borrow simplicity. Reducing the number of organisational layers with a view to simplification is at the heart of our preoccupations in order to reduce the number of decision-making loops and ensure good coherence between the corporate governance team and operational staff. Matrix organisations, flat organisations and others are all paradigms that should be preceded by a cultural evolution within the company. The proposed Simplicity Boxes provide solutions that take the best of traditional approaches (management by processes, Lean…) and integrating simplicity and emotional intelligence to meet the simplification requirements of companies.
